InZone Industries Ltd is a New Zealand owned and operated, integrated manufacturing and installation business. Environmental responsibility and sustainability is at the heart of our business and is more than just greenwash. We are extremely proud to have achieved the highest certification status under the Living Building Challenge’s Declare programme and are now the world’s first polyester insulation products Red List Free under Declare.

The Living Building Challenge™ is a building certification program, advocacy tool and philosophy that defines the most advanced measure of sustainability. It sets a high world-wide performance standard for environmental responsibility amongst the building industry. They have developed a Red-List of prohibited materials under the Declare programme, which include ingredients such as mercury, cadmium, formaldehyde (added), chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), halogenated flame retardants, lead, asbestos and more.

Declare is a ‘nutrition label’ for the international building industry and is a voluntary self-disclosure program aiming for healthier and more ecological products in construction – Red List Free products are shown to be free from Declare’s red list ingredients.

All InZone Industries polyester thermal and acoustic insulation products – MammothNOVAhush, NOVAfloor & NOVAtherm are manufactured in New Zealand and include our unique friction fit, airlay insulation. The friction fit, airlay insulation enables a smooth, seamless fit without gaps, creases or tucks removing the requirement for staples or strapping. This quality installation improves thermal performance and assists in a speedy installation.

If you are looking to take up the Living Building Challenge for homes or commercial buildings you can confidently use Mammoth and NOVA Red-List Free products.
