This striking luxury home includes a cleverly detailed lining feature – using Vulcan Panelling with a clear finish, which will require little to no maintenance.

Created from thermally modified and sustainably-sourced timber, Vulcan Panelling is a lightweight, stable timber with a rich warmth and distinctive straight grain.

Shown here in the ceiling of the outdoor entertainment area, Vulcan Panelling brings a beautiful feeling of warmth to the palette of render, tile and glass.  Vulcan Panelling can also be used in interior applications, to introduce the rich colour of nature into a room.

In this project, the exterior weatherboards also match seamlessly with the garage door, both use Vulcan Cladding finished in Teak.

Key facts:

  • Vulcan Panelling is created from thermally modified New Zealand plantation timber and engineered with a patented vertical grain construction for superior weathering characteristics
  • The thermal modification process and vertical grain structure means Vulcan Panelling has enhanced stability, reduced resin content, is a beautiful homogeneous brown colour, and is naturally durable so does not require any chemical preservatives
  • Available in a range of architectural profiles and can be factory pre-finished in a range of colours
